Mark LaRush

Who would have thought the movie “Juice” would give rise to the birth of Mark LaRush in East New York, Brooklyn? Inspired by the film and its urban music, he hurriedly purchased his first pair of turntables and practiced every night in his bedroom. The music he created filled his tiny room but more importantly emanated so freely and with passion from a place deep within him that practicing by himself was simply not enough. On a mission to find others filled with musical inspiration like him self, La Rush sought to watch other DJs from a variety of different neighborhoods spin vinyl of Latin, House and Hip-Hop music. He watched intently as other DJ’s riveted crowds and obtained a real good sense on how he ultimately wanted to move a crowd. From that point on, DJ’ing as a hobby became DJ’ing as a life’s career. Years progressed and La Rush, initially spinning at local house parties, basement parties and local events, graduated to performing at well-known lounges and clubs in the mecca of the music world, New York City. His roots in NYC began with performing at clubs such as DeVille, Boucarou, Tonic, Belmont Lounge, Suzie Wong, Guest House, Gates, Marquee, Juliet, Aspen Social and many more. He is now proud to be the resident DJ at China One, Fulucka, Le souk, and Flute midtown in Manhattan. His high energy mix of beats invigorates all crowds listening. He generally plays a mix of Pop, disco, 80's, House, Reggae, Hip Hop, R&B, and Rock.

While LaRush has many accomplishments as a DJ, his most recent accomplishment came when he was chosen to be opening DJ for DJ Big Ben of Hot 97 FM at Guesthouse, working with Jerry B Events/www.DirtyStayOut.com, Andrew ofnewstandard.tv, and Jennifer Logue's Obama Pajama Party. In addition to his work in NYC clubs and lounges, Mark LaRush also performs for all private events needing a DJ including weddings, fashion events, and parties for all occasions.

Mark LaRush is currently working on music production and traveling to other countries and DJ'ing internationally. Be on the lookout for Mark LaRush’s eclectic style of music because he’s looking for you…to make sure you have a great time whenever his music is playing!

DJ Vinyla

Russian DJ Vinyla, came from very cold Siberian city with a very hot electronic night life. She was so magnetized by the electronic world that in a very short time she began to learn how to mix music and soon after found work as a DJ in Russia. Valentina’s Djing career was started in 2003 and during that time she has had many great opportunities to play with famous DJ's at the Russian Night Club “Kristal”, where she had been resident Dj for the past two years. Valentina definitely as a passion, love and a unique style of mixing electronic and house music for her crowd. Her musical set swings from Funky house, House, Techno house and Tribal house. The Supply

There will always be the trade of drugs worldwide, the "World Drug Report" stated that the trade accounts for $400 Billion of the World trade. There are 141 million drug abusers, 8 million heroin addicts and 13 million cocaine addicts. with numbers this staggering, there are always going to be people that ensure they supply the demand for drugs, i mean hey, it's a 400 billion dollar industry!!!

Drug traders and dealers have earned loads of cash and live lavish lives. They are also rootless and there are tons of unsolved mysteries due to drug wars.

There will always be a demand, so there will always be a supply, the cycle of drug trade will not stop, the use either, not in 10 years, we can slow it down, but there will always be those that encourage it in order to keep the market open.

money and violence = drug trade
don't get wrapped up in it!

BE AWARE!!!!

Drugs the supply and the demand.

"I done seen drugs and money run the whole thing!" A line that is true to the highest degree. I did some research and the information i got was astounding:

In 2001 from the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy compiled these numbers.

Americans ages 12 - 17  28.4% of them REPORTED use of illicit  drugs. 18 - 25 was 55.6%, 25 - 34 was 53.6%, 35 and older 38.4%. This was in 2001 and  only what got reported, these numbers are HUGE for the American population.

I was riding the A train today from the Upper West side to Mid Town, and this guy hopped on. He was white looked like a wrinkled 28, his eyes said nothing, his arms all bruised clearly from itching himself a lot and his teeth dark brown and decaying. He sat there dusting imaginary things of his face, scratching his leg and head and brushing his nose constantly. He was a sight to behold, and i felt sorry for him. Drugs had taken a hold of him and he was definitely lost.

The party industry is filled with drug use ecstasy and cocaine the most popular, many young people enter this world and want the full party experience, the drink, pop pills and snort coke and some have the ability to stop, but many get wrapped into the lifestyle. The thing about drug use is that many people use them but they are able to support the habit. Your boss might be a cocaine addict but you'll never  know because he'll always be able to supply his habit.

My concern are and will always be the kids. The ones that are pressured into the use of drugs, i've been on the party scene for over 3 years and if i can do it and be so cool then you can too! It is not necessary to use drugs, you will be offered it, but trust me more people will respect you more when you say no! i've said no many times and i know you can as well.

*IMPORTANT UPDATE* Tomas approaches Haiti

Just in, Tropical storm Tomas has strengthened to a Hurricane and strong winds and rain are currently lashing Haiti. As of now Tomas is 280 Kilometers from Haiti with winds at 130 Km/h. Thousand have been told to flee the many tent cities that have been put up since Haiti's major earthquake.

A direct hit seems unlikely , but winds and heavy rain are a worry for the islands inhabitants already affected by the Earthquake.

OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH OUR HAITIANS BROTHERS AND SISTERS!!!!
