Solange Knowles at Covet last night

Well I went down to Covet tonight because a good friend of mine was going and wanted me to go as well. The Door staff was very pleasant and the atmosphere was festive. Solange Knowles was on the cards to DJ and DJ she did. She has improved from the last time i heard her at 1 Oak about a month ago which is great.

The complaints are still coming in about her and other celebs hoping on the DJ game and depriving professional DJs from work. Some DJs complain that there are C list celebs looking for a quick buck by turning to DJing. As true as this may be, is this a fair assumption? Producers have turned rappers, singers have turned actors, actors turned singers, so isn't it ok for a singer to turn DJ? A, B or C list it doesn't matter. now if they were just doing it and screwing up i'd get it. But she is doing a good job, tonight the crowd was rocking and i even rocked, and those that know me can tell you, a DJ has to come correct to make me rock!

So i give Solange my go ahead and support, as a DJ critique and a manager she gets my blessing!!!

Media Regime Club Rules for guys!!!

1) Do not walk up to the club with a army of your "boys" or your "man's and them" like how you act all thug and call dudes in tight pants gay, but you rolling with a bunch of dudes with they pants sagging under they butt like they the midnight snack at Rikers?

2) You dont's have $20 to get in? what were you planning on drinking in there?

3) Dude it's hot as hell in the club and we both know you aint no celeb!!! Lose the Hooded sweater.

4) Don't fight!!! She chose him why you mad??? The ratio is 5 to every 1 in a club!

5) Don't threaten the door guy! you'll never get in, EVER !!!!

6) Take a few pages out of Yonnick's book when you go clubbing, observe him and you will learn a whole LOT!!!!
a) bring 1 even 2 girls with you to the club, at least walk up to the door with them.
b)always tip bartenders, bottle servers even bouncer, next time you go back they will take care of you.
c)be a gentleman to the ladies, don't just try to grind up on them.
d)if you buy bottles don't stand and walk around with them in your hand, you have a table for a reason.
e)you are not in music video, be easy, have fun, but be easy!!!
